Each week we host a ‘virtual showing’ of a film which is available free to view on YouTube. This week we’re getting in the mood for Halloween with George A Romero’s immortal zombie flick Night Of The Living Dead.


George Romero didn’t invent the zombie, nor the zombie movie either, but in Night Of The Living Dead he established many of the tropes that would come to be considered standard behaviour for our undead cousins for years to come.

Thanks to him, we confidently expect our zombies to be largely somnambulent, shambling, stupid and rather hungry for our brains. This was his first take on the subject, and for many, his most successful. Enjoy…
